I wasn't of course part of BW's life when this "pregnancy by paper trail," began. I can tell you I have been pacing outside the delivery room for far more than a year now....and this wordly happening has again renewed by faith in the power of prayer. I am reminded of course of the old tale of the man & the boy - walking the beaches after a storm. The boy as boys will is picking up starfish - sand dollars - and the like and tossing them far into the surf. As the walk continues the old man asks the boy "what possible difference can you make in the world...there are THOUSANDS of sea creatures on this beach....you can't make a real difference. You can't!" The boys' reply is classic of course and so appropriate here - "yes, my papa, of course....but," he pauses and tosses yet another starfish into the waves, "I made a difference to THIS one." So it is with Julia, and so it is with God.

Bravo! Let's have a standing ovation for Rachel, Lois, and Hannah!!! Look at their gracious expressions as they begin an adventure with a new sibling. Julia could not have landed in a better dom. Bravo for Keith and Becky for teaching their girls "You are loved. Now love someone who hasn't known love." I know from watching the girls that this isn't a new concept for them. Julia, when you are old enough to read and understand this: God gave his only son to the world. Mama and Papa and Rachel and Lois and Hannah gave their only home to YOU. As you grow up, share your newfound love with those who need it. Loving others will bring joy and meaning to your life. Always. Welcome home everyone! Hannah, teach Julia the "frozen sausage trick" the next time you're in the grocery store with Mom.

Wow... all this time and here it is. I'm speechless. Just so happy for all of you. You can really tell from the pics that she has made a transformation from "Guanna the orphan" to "Julia Woodworth the loved". She's glowing... everybody is. Big Congrats! As usual, I dealt with all of the emotion by shopping-- I have gifts! Ready when you are ;-)
