Congrats on 3 years! You can tell those sisters really love each other too.

I love your sister’s day traditions. We celebrate “Gotcha” day as more of a family day too. It doesn’t really work so well to put the focus on “gotcha” when only one child is adopted. I think family day/sister’s day, etc. sends a better message, bringing the whole family into the celebration.

My dear Becky – The only thing that would have made the morning even more tear-worthy than it already was would have been for the youth choir to end the service with “The Lord Bless You and Keep You” (see May 21 post). We played Celtic Woman’s rendition of “You Raise Me Up” at my mom’s funeral, so it really meant a great deal to me to hear that song, and the kids did such a wonderful job. You have a lovely group of girls. I know you and Keith are very proud of each of them, and deservedly so. Here’s to many more happy “Sisters’ Days.” Love you.

Okay Becky, I’m crying! What a lovely post. The LOVE just comes gushing through. Your girls are so pretty in the last picture and obviously crazy happy!

For you readers out there, I was there in worship today and the singing of “Raise You Up” or whatever it’s called by the youth choir was just what I needed and so beautifully done.
