Oh my gosh – she’s got another Nikon! Keith and the girls have created a monster. Beck, remember how we would tease you long, long ago, when you were in your 20′s. You’d get so excited that you’d literally be shaking while pulling that big, heavy, black body and lense(s)out of that huge camera bag that had “who knows what” in it. No one wanted you to miss the shot because you’d get really hard to live with… LOL.

Wowwww You are a fast learner. You know that flip cam you told me about?? I still need help with it. Your photos are beautiful! A second career as a wedding photographer??? My thoughts and prayers will be with Lois today. Hopefully her surgery will go swiftly and her recovery the same. Call me at home if I can do anything to help.

I didn’t go digital until a few years age until the Nikon D40 became available, and I have never looked back. I didn’t want a pocket digital because there was such a lag in shutter speed and when you are taking pictures of children, you have to get the shot fast!

Love my D40, have taken thousands of pictures with it, and the quality is great. I probably only use about a quarter of the functions that are available because I have never gotten through the manual, but it does what I need.
