Something you don’t see every day

But we saw it on the way to church tonight, cutting through the Reagan High School parking lot (a teensy bit against the law and therefore a sin, hence, the need to get to church.)

My kids don’t think a 7.5-year-old Ford Windstar minivan is too cool but we know better, don’t we, Clark?

Now, I owe it to myself to tell you, Mr. Griswold, that if you are thinking of taking the tribe cross country, this is your automobile. The Wagon Queen Family Truckster. You think you hate it now, but wait till you drive it.

Now get on down the road!

My mom told me to cheer when she cheered to show on the video we reached 100,000 miles. I forgot because I was in the back seat not paying attention. all of a sudden, I hear all this screaming and freak out. After a few seconds(to process whats happening) I scream.

(this is my comment from the other blog, the one with my stupid picture, but i thought i should repost it :) )

    YOU GUYS ARE NERDS…

oh, and your warranty on the van is now expired. YAY!

  • Shels:

That would be 100,000 hard-earned miles for that poor ol’ Windstar!
How would you have liked to have done all it has?
Not me… no way, and then teaching 2 girls to drive on top of it all???

  • DENNIS FOWLER:

Wait….our van turns 7 next month & we only have like 86,000 miles on it & we usually put about 4500 miles on it every June during our road trips. You ride the bus to work….how can it have that many miles on it??

  • Chris S:

Any blog that includes a reference to National Lampoon’s and the smartest man in Clark Griswold is AWESOME!!!

Way to go Windstar!! If that van could talk I would love to hear it’s stories!!!

  • Gail Watkins:

I’m with you, Bec. My 2003 Tahoe is going strong with 88,888 plus miles. GW

  • This is my goal..100k!

Only 56k currently and it is a ’04 so I am looking to have this car for at least, ten more years!!
