Pop A Top
Keith’s Big Green Egg stand/table/holder/thingy is now in use.
It’s simply gorgeous. The concrete top flecked with broken glass and rocks looks and feels like marble or granite.
The top is smoooooth and cool and beautiful. Never guess it was concrete.
The stand even rolls. Right now, it’s flush against our deck Keith rebuilt a few years ago.
The deck, the stairs, the cobblestones – all his doing. My job is to bring ice water. I’m such a help.
Let’s see it in use. Ribby, briskety use.
Ummm.
Dinner is served.
Changes at thisreminds.me
Becky started this blog as The Woodworth Famliy at Blogdrive.com some 5 years ago, last year we migrated from that hosted site to a self hosted site using a little server in our gameroom. I have just updated all the software and hardware to allow the thisreminds.me staff to do even more.
Some of the new features
Subscriptions – The new site will allow you to subscribe to the site, not just the email update list. I have taken the liberty of converting all email update subscribers to blog subscribers. Subscribers will have easer access to comments, and Gravatars. If you would like to edit your display name so your email address is not displayed on comments, website or password use the profile page to make any changes to your account.
Gravatars – Are icons that are hosted on the free website Gravatar.com, any logged on subscriber with a Gravatar will have their Gravatar display with their comments. Only G Rated Gravatars will be displayed. There is an easy check box at the bottom of the comment section to sign up for your own Gravatar when you leave a comment.
Archives and Categories – Be sure to try out our new Archives and Categories searches on the top of the home page. Easier to check out those old blogs, or read everything posted about “Russia,” or whatever.
Add to Any – Now you can link directly to the blog from Facebook, Twitter or dozens of other sites, or email a copy directly. So go share!
Hope you like these changes! And watch for more later.

The man – he doth progress.
I have been promised Mother’s Day lunch cooked on his Egg, encased in its new nifty concrete table/holder/base/thingy.
I am suffering through a really nasty. feverish, hacking-my-brains out cold. So I blame the germs surging through my body for making me think of this video which Lois has played for our enjoyment countless times:
The Korean Egg Song - Music to Sneeze By
Enjoy. Both Keith. And the music.
Back to my Kleenex.
Grit’n'Polish
Keith continues working on his Big Green Egg stand/form/table/thingy. Now he’s polishing the surface embedded with all those pieces of glass from broken bottles.
You do remember his Egg? The green ceramic slow cooker?
I need to start my list of what I want to cook when the stand is finished……feel free to offer a suggestion….
