“Atlas Shrugged” did more to influence my thinking than any other book, other than the Bible. I read it one summer in college, when I still had enough to time read books simply because I’d heard of them and thought I should. As Rush would say, it helped mold my “head full of mush.”
“Atlas Shrugged” defines capitalism. Its anti-socialist message is clear and memorable.
Had the heroine – Dagny Taggert – not have committed adultery, I would have been sorely tempted to name a daughter after her.
